16 Mar Tree Tops COVID-19 Statement
COVID-19 update 19-5-2020:
We’d love to make an announcement to tell you that we have a date that we can reopen. Sadly we don’t have much to tell you as yet.
England and Wales have taken 2 routes regarding lockdown. In England you may travel, although not to visit 2nd homes. In Wales you may not travel at all due to regulation put in place by the Welsh Government. Our park was closed by the 1st Minister and we can’t open until he gives us permission.
In England you have 3 steps to reopen businesses and parks are in step 3, this commences July. In Wales we have a traffic light system, Parks are likely to be included in the Amber stage. We’re lead to believe this could start in June. It will all depend on the “R” number that we hear so much about and the stress on the NHS.
When we do open, it is likely that we will face some changes in the way we operate. It is
important that we protect our Caravan Owners, the Tree Tops Team, and of course our local community.
It’s hard to say exactly what changes we will face, there are lots of things to consider. We hope to give you plenty of notice of changes and we know that we can rely on you to help us reopen the park in the safest way possible. Until COVID-19 goes away, life will be different. We need to stick to the rules, “Stay Alert” as the PM says and work hard to avoid a 2nd lockdown.
This has been a horrible time, we’d like to thank you all once again for your support and your kind messages. It’s kept us going. We hope the park meets with your standards when you return.
We hope to have more to tell you soon! In the meantime please stay safe and well.
