Alongside buying a home or choosing a new car, purchasing a static caravan is both a lifestyle choice and a significant investment.
There are many things to consider before going ahead so it pays to spend some time thinking about the reasons you want to buy and thoroughly doing your homework before committing.
Choosing a location is just the first step. The next is to set a budget – both a minimum and maximum – and to draw up a shortlist of parks in your chosen location. Our many years of experience and numerous satisfied customers have shown that our Caravan Park North Wales is a perfect retreat location.
It’s important, too, to check a site’s fees and always insist on seeing a park’s site agreement in advance exploring thoroughly the terms and conditions. If a park won’t share their agreement with you then ask yourself – and them – why.
Make sure you check any paperwork thoroughly and look carefully at the length of time a site will grant a licence for. Check out disconnection charges and, if you think you might sell your caravan at a later date, then be clear in advance about what would happen to your caravan during that period.
Asking questions at this stage avoids unnecessary surprises in the future and ensures your purchase goes smoothly. If you need more help, then we’re always happy to answer questions and you can reach us on 01745 560279.
